Town v. Country

An introductory university brief where we were asked to produce an object that represented us.

I designed a book, whose cover was a miscellany of quotes, song lyrics and anecdotes- a nod to my love of music, literature and traveling experiences.

When opened, the book initally appears to be blank pages, but a ribbon at the centre unties to unfold two large panoramic compilation drawings: the left revealing a collage of my previous life at home in rural Norfolk; the right my experiences of life in London so far.

Hand drawn, then digitally compiled and shaded, with extra details added to the final print-outs.
