Maps: a brilliant little operation

Cartography for Paddy Ashdown's newest publication from Aurum Press:  A Brilliant Little Operation: The Cockleshell Heroes and the Most Courageous Raid of World War 2 The maps were designed to help the reader navigate through 400 pages of the inticate details of Operation Frankton's raid on Bordeaux Harbour in 1942. Thick with names and dates, each map is designed to give visual explanations of each stage of the raid, from the Marines' route up the Gironde river, to their escape route across the Pyrenees.
